Wieteke Schuiten began painting around 2021. Working intuitively from feeling and emotion, she paints without sketches or external references. She enjoys experimenting and lets the creative process guide each work’s development. Often using bright colors and clear shapes, she draws on personal experiences to develop a visual language of her own, with each painting evolving as she works.⁠
