He is currently enrolled at Wakatake Art (Okinawa Prefecture). His obsession with letters has continued since his childhood. When the works he secretly created in his room were introduced at the 2001 exhibition, they immediately attracted attention from outside the prefecture and even the country. He only completed two or three pieces, and most of them were left halfway through. After that, he began to draw letters not only at home but also during creative activities at Wakatake, and for some reason, these works are drawn vertically. Unaware of the acclaim for his works or the attention of the public, he has been absorbed in drawing not kanji characters but colorful bells and stars for the past 12 years, and small dots for the past eight years. He paints obsessively until the ink seeps through to the back, just like dyeing, and it is as if he is enjoying the process itself. His attention to detail and unique techniques are visible and moving. His works have been repeatedly introduced both in Japan and abroad, and were also included in the Complete Collection of Japanese Art (Shogakukan, 2016).
