HERALBONY is an art lifestyle brand from Iwate Prefecture that aims to create new culture together with exceptional artists from Japan and abroad (artists with disabilities who belong to welfare facilities, etc.).

Background of Furusato Nozei Adoption

HERALBONY has been committed to creating new value for local communities and society through art, featuring artworks by artists with intellectual disabilities.

Meanwhile, in Morioka City, where HERALBONY is based, there was a challenge regarding the difference between the amount of donations received and the amount of donations flowing out through the Furusato Nozei (hometown tax donation) system. There was a need to develop unique Morioka return gifts to promote the city's appeal and expand the number of donors.

Against this backdrop, the flagship store "HERALBONY ISAI PARK," which opened in Morioka City in March this year, has attracted many visitors from outside the prefecture and is generating new economic benefits. As a result, HERALBONY's products have now been adopted as return gifts for Morioka City's Furusato Nozei.
