HERALBONY
Summer 2025
This brand creates new culture in society through products that pursue vibrant expression, born from the powerful identities of artists with disabilities.
Kahoru Sugimoto
Untitled
Born in 1979, resides in Shiga Prefecture.
Joined Yamanami Kobo in 1998.
She chooses her favorite colors using paper cups and carefully stamps each one. The circles from the paper cups stack up in various colors, creating a vibrant finish.
For her, the act of stamping holds the position of work, which likely leads to a sense of accomplishment, purpose, and motivation.

Momoko Nakagawa
Momoko
Born in 1996, resides in Shiga Prefecture.
Joined Yamanami Kobo in 2015.
Initially, she repeatedly wrote her own name, "Momoko." This expression, as if she enjoyed the sensation of drawing, evolved from writing her name to drawing and layering circles.
The colorful artworks, completed by layering countless circles using paints, ballpoint pens, and colored pencils while she hums cheerfully, seem to reflect her bright demeanor.
Sanae Sasaki
Untitled
Affiliated with the Rumbini Art Museum.
She continues to create diverse expressions, not only paintings but also textiles, paper-cutting, and embroidery, all of which are elaborate and rich in brilliant colors and compositions.
She typically focuses on one project for several months to several years, then suddenly stops and moves on to another. Currently, she is engrossed in coloring circular cutouts of paper with multiple colors in concentric circles, then arranging and pasting the finished papers onto a wall.
T-shirts
Naoto Iguchi
Untitled
Affiliated with Safran Seikatsuen.
Using convenience store and facility copy machines, she makes it a daily routine to copy her own face and her current favorite things.
By pressing her face against the glass, operating the buttons herself, and moving her body with the scanning light, she creates unique distortions in the image. The stickers frequently used in her works are prize application stickers peeled off during aluminum can work at the facility, and she has won prizes many times with them.
She has been going to a nearby convenience store every day for over 20 years, and when she finishes, the staff skillfully wipe the oil from her face off the glass.
Leather Items
Satoru Kobayashi
Numbers
Affiliated with L'Atelier Musee.
A closer look reveals that various numbers are connected to form the drawings. While in junior high school at a school for children with special needs, Kobayashi began to write all of his diary entries and essays by arranging every character into unique shapes. At first, his teachers struggled to find a way to correct this, but eventually, they began to view it as an appealing form of artistic expression. This marked a turning point, and his expressions began to take flight as art that brought joy to many people.
