This exhibition introduces the rhythm created through repetition and the richness of variation within it. Their works are imbued with subtle fluctuations and changes. Countless repeated moments do not disappear but overlap, appearing as variations. As you listen to the flow of time etched on the canvas, you will be able to feel the unique resonance played by each "repetition and variation."
Special events are scheduled for August 22 (Sat) and September 13 (Sun) during the exhibition period. Please enjoy them in conjunction with the exhibition.

Hung Kei Shiu | Creativity Explored
One of the leading artists from Creativity Explored, an art studio in San Francisco. Known for his unique expression of layering dashes, dots, circles, and small color fields, his canvases reflect light, air, and environmental nuances through the accumulation of delicate marks. Currently, he primarily focuses on abstract expression, creating rich colors and rhythms from the overlapping of repeated marks. His expression, which he has consistently explored over many years, builds a dense, rich world that combines both serenity and dynamism.
Yuriko Miyagawa | Koboshu
Born in 1987, Yuriko Miyagawa is affiliated with Koboshu (Saitama Prefecture). She enjoys physical activity, and her expansive physicality is also evident in her artistic creation. Humming "Goo-ru Goo-ru," she approaches large sheets of paper, spreads paint with her palms, and layers colors in a circular motion. She particularly favors red, and the trajectories created by her body movements form powerful canvases full of vitality. Her repeated gestures engrave the rhythm and breath of each moment onto the canvas, creating a world of works rich in expression.
Haruka Kitamura | Yamanami Kobo
Born in 2001, Haruka Kitamura is affiliated with Yamanami Kobo (Shiga Prefecture). She layers colors over the entire paper surface with brushes and paint rollers, then fills it with countless circles drawn with a ballpoint pen. The circles spreading across the canvas depict things that are close and important to the artist, such as her favorite trains, family, and friends, creating an organic expansion that also resembles bubbles. The canvas, composed of a dense accumulation of lines, depicts a rich world that combines both tranquility and power.
Koji Nishioka | Atelier Cornus
Born in 1970, Koji Nishioka is affiliated with Atelier Cornus (Osaka). He has been interested in letters and symbols since childhood. His current style of copying musical scores came about after a piano and sheet music were donated to his facility. With extraordinary concentration, he meticulously transcribes the complex entanglement of staves and notes. His compositions flow and skew to the right, showing a breathing fluctuation with intentionally varied line strengths.
