Ryoya Akaike

Since childhood, Akaike Ryoya has continued to draw motifs that have captured his heart with free-flowing lines. His involvement in the art club in high school further broadened his range of expression. Using acrylic paints and colored pencils, he creates unique colors that are vivid and powerful, blending colors until he is satisfied. His portraits accurately capture the artist's features, creating a unique rhythm with his striking gaze and the strength and flexibility of his lines. His sketchbooks are filled with a variety of motifs, and by repeatedly drawing the same subject, he expresses his desire to grasp its characteristics more deeply. The joy of meeting and connecting with people through drawing is the driving force behind his creativity.
