Minami-Takahashi

She is currently a member of the Lumbini Museum of Art (Hanamaki, Iwate Prefecture). At first glance, her works, created by layering paint with Copic pencils and crayons, suggest an intense creative attitude that requires quick pencil movements. However, in fact, her work is very slow and calm. Each color she paints does not mix with the others, but appears on the canvas asserting its own beauty, and the mysterious coexistence of intensity and serenity is captivating.
