Next to brilliance

The reason our staff wants to send it to you.

Behind every gift, there's always a person.

Staff who work alongside the artists every day share insights into the atmosphere surrounding the creation of the works and the artists' warm personalities.

Instead of simply choosing art, experience the richness of giving a gift while thinking of the "someone" who created it.

Let the stories born alongside these unique talents become your gifts.

It's been three years since I became Marina's 담당 (person in charge).
She loves sushi, and when she talks about it, a smile always lights up her face. She has grown so much, from walking the runway and taking on public art projects, to now even holding the microphone at sports festivals. Her genuine joy in expressing herself always gives me courage.

Recently, she's changed her medium from fine ballpoint pens to acrylic paints, allowing her to create freer, more expansive lines. The layers of color spreading across her canvases overflow with her unique "life force," and I feel her strength growing year by year.

I want to give this muffler to my dear friend who I haven't been able to see, who lives overseas.
She started a business in Australia and is bravely taking on challenges alone in an unfamiliar land. Even though we are far apart, she always watches over HERALBONY and is a precious presence who gently encourages me.

I hope Marina's kindness and her power to move forward reach my friend's everyday life through this muffler.

This work was inspired by an apple wreath that Yufu saw in a magazine's Christmas feature. After finishing it, she named it "Apple Bouquet." For Yufu, "flowers" have always been special since childhood. The gentleness of her gaze is evident from the episode where she would quietly pick flowers she found on her way to school and ask her teacher for their names, memorizing them.

As for myself, I wasn't very interested in flowers when I was a child, but as an adult, ever since I started decorating my room with flowers, I've had more moments where their fleeting beauty and the beauty of life unexpectedly moved me. In my busy daily life, the time I can spend slowly gazing at flowers is very short. Nevertheless, even a single bloom can change the atmosphere.

That's why I wanted to give this "Apple Bouquet" scarf to a friend living overseas. Even though we are far apart, I hope a small warmth, like a blooming flower, will gently light up her daily life.

“Wind Rondo” has a complexity that still evokes a sense of warmth.
It is one of the most representative works, loved since the days of MUKU, HERALBONY’s predecessor brand, and has strongly supported our activities. Like a tailwind that continues to push us forward, it remains an important presence for the brand to this day.

Countless curves drawn from all directions, never mingling with each other. Within them, intensity and tranquility mysteriously coexist, and as you gaze upon it, there is a warmth that seems to gently align your heart. We believe that a card case adorned with this “Wind Rondo” will gently instill courage to move forward, accompanying the recipient throughout their life.

To a friend embarking on a new challenge.
This is an item you'll want to give to convey the message, "I'm cheering you on, even from afar."

This series is a collaboration with "Nagasawa COFFEE" in Morioka, featuring specially created coffee on the theme of "diversity," with the artwork of four artists enveloping the coffee. If I had to choose, I would want to deliver this drip pack, led by the work of Yasuhiro Kobayashi.

An endless horizon spreads across the entire screen. A single figure floats comfortably on the calm sea. Yasuhiro's works, affectionately known as the "Maestro," have a mysterious power to remind us—who often try too hard—of "space."

When he held an exhibition in Morioka, Yasuhiro was very attentive to how his works were received. While enjoying the act of painting, his strong sense of responsibility and pride as an artist left a lasting impression.

I want to convey that straightforward confidence and the energy that transcends words to my friends who are working hard away from home, as a casual souvenir with a touch of Morioka's atmosphere.

When I visited the Rumbini Museum, where Sanae works, she was always quietly but intensely focused on her drawing. Some days she would fill every margin of a magazine with words, and other days she would endlessly layer colorful circles. Her unwavering focus was breathtaking, and every movement she made was uniquely Sanae.

This worldview is also reflected in this dress. The pattern, while appearing regular, also has a wonderfully free flow. It's as if the rhythm of concentration she accumulated on paper is now breathing on the fabric.

I myself have deep respect for her dedication. And in the same way, I feel a similar sentiment towards my partner, who supports me every day and quietly encourages my endeavors.

That's why I want to give this dress, which reflects Sanae's meticulousness and her way of seeing the world, to the person I respect the most—my partner.

When I first encountered Shigeaki Wada’s work, what captivated me was its “freedom.” Animals, airplanes, national flags—he boldly draws whatever he likes, driven by instinct. Sometimes he even envelops an entire piece in soap bubbles, making Wada an artist who literally incorporates “movement” itself into his work.

The first time I saw his representative work, “Northwest Airlines,” I felt as if “the air itself was moving.”

I want to give this sweatshirt to my partner. He continues to play amateur soccer alongside his work, and I have always respected his unwavering passion since childhood.

Wada’s art resonates with that straightforward passion. The strength to be free, bold, and to honestly pursue what you love. That is why I want to give him this “Northwest Airlines” sweatshirt.

I hope the “power to take flight” that Wada depicted will gently accompany him in his daily life.

When I joined the company and had no knowledge, I first encountered the art of "Iga Otome" when selecting the art for the back of our business cards, and I was genuinely impressed by the colors and techniques.

Later, when she was serving as a one-day store manager at a POPUP event, I had the opportunity to communicate with her as her assistant. Seeing her energetically greet people with "I'm Iga Otome! Nice to meet you!", I was deeply impressed by her straightforward and earnest personality.

True to her character, she has explored various artistic techniques, showcasing different forms of art such as printmaking, paper cutting, and figurative painting.

This winter, I want to give her this "Green Landscape" art as a blouse, hoping it will be an item that can, even a little, support her as she battles through her daily life as a wife, a mother to our children, and a professional.

This summer, when I was viewing Iga-san's works at his home, his mother told me that "as a child, Takeo would immediately cut up his finished drawings with scissors." Apparently, tiny pieces of paper would pile up like shredded documents, and his mother, wondering if there was a way to make use of them, arrived at the technique of "collage."

Iga-san's collage art, beautiful as if sparkling with natural light, was in fact born from "his mother's ingenuity."

It is an expression nurtured by Takeo's individuality and distinct preferences, alongside his mother's love. When I consider that this led to the creation of numerous works that could be called his representative style, it feels like a symbol of "life and family working together hand-in-hand."

I hope that the sharp, stylish "Umi" (ocean) tie will also bring out new possibilities for my beloved husband. I want to discover his unseen strengths together with him—with that wish in mind, I want to give him this "tie for an important occasion."

Taisuke travels the world year-round.
This piece, "New York in front of Tiffany," was drawn when Taisuke actually visited New York. Taisuke navigated the grid-patterned streets, much like his hometown of Kyoto, with ease. He particularly loved the area in front of Tiffany.

No matter where he goes, Taisuke captures the "beautiful moments" of that place. As I look at this piece, imagining how New York must have appeared through Taisuke's eyes, I picture Taisuke enjoying his trip and the smiles of the Kinugasa family. It's a work that makes you feel as if you're traveling with them.

I'm giving a handkerchief featuring this artwork to my grandmother, who lives far away. Every time we meet, she tells me stories about Naoshima, where we went together two years ago. While we can't travel together again right away, I hope this handkerchief will give her a little taste of travel in the meantime.

I have very precious memories of En-san. When I visited Nozomi no Ie in the summer, I brought some tea to her mouth to help her hydrate, but she wouldn't drink it with my prompting. When a veteran staff member took over, she drank it down as if nothing had happened.

It's natural for someone like me who had only been there for a few days, but the anxiety I felt at that moment was incredibly heavy for me, who had been working enthusiastically at Heralbony, and I couldn't stop crying.

Even without speaking, En-san and the staff members' relationship of truly seeing and trusting each other is wonderful, and I genuinely admire it.

En-san always sits on the mat at the center of everyone, swaying her whole body. Every time I find the scroll of her hand in her artwork, I remember that rhythm.

Even after 30 years of being close, there are still things we don't understand. I thought it would be nice to share this story with my parents, who want to respect each other as different beings in a good way.
