The HERALBONY Art Prize aims to be "a place to reveal the process through which society's language changes in front of art" rather than "a place to select excellent artworks." This year, for the first time, we will hold a special event.

Program Outline

Part 1: Encountering Art | Dialogic Appreciation

Join aesthetician Asa Ito as we journey through the artworks, engaging in dialogue and freely sharing what we notice and feel. Even when faced with the same artwork, each person's perception is unique. By borrowing the perspectives of those around us, we can discover expressions of the artwork that we would never have encountered alone. Let's spend a moment together in such discovery.

Part 2: With the Artists and Their Families | Talk Session

This talk session will feature the artists whose works we encountered in Part 1, their families, and Ms. Yuka Komai, who oversees the artists daily at Atelier Bravo. We will reflect on the appreciation time in Part 1 while hearing about their creative process and daily lives. The words you exchange will also serve as an opportunity for the artists and their families to re-examine their works. Please join us as part of this moment where the three perspectives—the creator, those who share their lives, and those who view the art—quietly converge.
