International Art Award “HERALBONY Art Prize” to be held again in 2026 – Submissions now open
The theme for 2026 is "No limits. Break barriers, unleash creativity!"
The international art award "HERALBONY Art Prize 2026" has been confirmed. The exhibition is scheduled to be held at SMBC Earth Garden in Tokyo from late May 2026.
This award was created to celebrate the brilliant talents of artists with disabilities. For the second "HERALBONY Art Prize 2025 Exhibition Presented by Tokyo Tatemono｜Brillia," 2,650 artworks were submitted from 65 countries and regions worldwide, and "La Reine Charlotte" by Evelyne Postic, residing in France, won the Grand Prize.
Along with the decision to hold the event, submissions for artworks also began on Monday, August 18, 2025. Through this award, we hope that applicants, as individual artists rather than as people with disabilities, will have their talents recognized and pave the way for further success.

HERALBONY Art Prize 2025 "Toyota Motor Corporation Award" winning artwork transformed into a one-of-a-kind rally car

A one-of-a-kind art rally car was created using Takahiro Kojo's artwork "Habataku" (Flapping Wings), which won the HERALBONY Art Prize 2025 "Toyota Motor Corporation Award." As an unveiling, it competed in the "TGR Rally Challenge Round 8 (Ishikari Round)" held in Ishikari City, Hokkaido, on Saturday, July 26, and Sunday, July 27.
By providing a stage for disabled artists worldwide to further showcase their talents and transforming "differences" into value through the power of art and mobility, the shared desire of both companies to "change the world together" led to the birth of this new design art rally car, the first of its kind in the world.
Furthermore, from August, a series of car accessories featuring Kojo's "Habataku" and Daisuke Shibuta's "Kujira no Mure" (School of Whales), which won the "Toyota Motor Corporation Award" at the "HERALBONY Art Prize 2024," are also being sold at Toyota's cultural and exhibition facilities.
These products, including steering wheel covers, bead cushions, and 2-way cushions, are designed to make the experience of "travel" itself more comfortable and enriching. They combine design and functionality, incorporating the power of art into everyday life.

A relaxing space adorned with art and greenery is born in Marugamemachi Green, Takamatsu City
For one month, from August 1 (Friday) to August 31 (Sunday), 2025, HERALBONY produced a spatial design at the commercial facility "Marugamemachi Green" in Takamatsu City, Kagawa Prefecture, decorating the plaza within the facility with art and greenery.
Under the theme "Arts Around Green," the symbolic tree at the center of the facility is surrounded by the work of Kagawa-based artist Takeru Kataoka. The freely flowing brushstrokes and refreshing green art create a comforting space where various people circulating the plaza can feel "it's okay to be here" and "it's okay to take a rest."
Pop-up shop at "NEWoMan Takanawa" opening in September
HERALBONY will open a pop-up shop at "NEWoMan Takanawa," which opens on Friday, September 12.
This pop-up will feature a collection of art scarves, which are planned to be a new symbol of the brand, under the theme of "Wearing a Museum," along with items that will add color to your autumn attire.
