[Saturday, August 22] Special Exhibition "Repetition and Variation" - Casual Art Appreciation Program
An art appreciation session that connects the "seen world" and the "unseen world" through dialogue with blind communicator Kensuke Ishii. Participants will engage in dialogue with Mr. Ishii, who is blind, to share how he perceives and interprets artworks and the atmosphere of the venue through his sense of touch, hearing, and words. This program offers an opportunity to experience a new way of enjoying art that doesn't rely on sight, and the content is designed to stimulate participants' own senses by demonstrating how the universal appeal of art can be conveyed through the five senses.

Kensuke Ishii
Blind Communicator
Born in 1979. Graduated from Bunka Fashion College. After working in the apparel and interior industries, he became a freelance sales and PR professional. In April 2016, he lost his sight overnight. In 2021, he began working as a blind communicator, serving as an intermediary between the visible and invisible worlds. His activities include developing and facilitating workshops and corporate training programs, giving lectures, developing inclusive design products in collaboration with companies, and producing audio descriptions for films and stage plays.
