~ A pair of sandals for this summer only, by two companies striving for excellent craftsmanship ~

As a special collaboration project with , an Indonesian brand that is one of the pioneers of sustainable footwear, we will be pre-releasing beach sandals featuring artist marina's work "maru-mm2024" at HERALBONY LABORATORY GINZA on Friday, July 17.
Indosole, which uses its unique technology to recycle discarded tires into new value, and Heralbony, which values manufacturing with consideration for society and the natural environment under its "Declaration of Responsible Manufacturing."
This collaboration was realized through the resonance of shared philosophies between the two.
By combining marina's dynamic, flowing art, we have created beach sandals with a light, summery feel.

Background of the Collaboration

Indosole is a B Corp certified footwear brand founded in Bali, Indonesia, in 2009. It recycles discarded tires, which would otherwise be waste, into durable soles using its unique technology, promoting circular manufacturing while addressing serious environmental problems. The company also focuses on highly transparent operations, ethical production, and contributions to local communities, and operates the "Community Assist" scholarship program, which supports the education of Indonesian children by donating a portion of the sales of each pair of sandals. In February 2026, HERALBONY obtained B Corporation™︎ (B Corp) international certification, which is awarded to companies that are committed to creating a positive impact on public good, such as society and the environment. In terms of community, HERALBONY was recognized for its long-term collaboration with stakeholders and partner companies based on its "artist-first" approach, which it has upheld since its founding. This project was realized because the philosophies of both companies, which aim for manufacturing that does not place a burden on manufacturers or the natural environment in the manufacturing process, overlapped.

HERALBONY's first-ever beach sandals

Beach sandals are essential for active summer scenes. In addition to chic monotone colors, a lineup of vibrant colors that evoke a playful summery feel is also available. With color schemes that bring out the dynamism of the art, they can also be enjoyed as an accent to your outfit.
The thongs feature the logos of both and , creating a special feel unique to this collaboration.

HERALBONY's initiatives to pursue excellent craftsmanship

In February 2026, Heralbony obtained B Corp certification, an international certification awarded for commitment to the public good.

B Corp Certification
This certification is awarded by the U.S. non-profit organization B Lab to companies that score 80 points or more out of 200 after being assessed on their social and environmental performance across five areas: community, employees, customers, governance, and environment.

Since its establishment, Heralbony has consistently maintained an "artist-first" approach, where dedicated staff members directly engage with each contracted artist, building trust, sharing project intentions, and obtaining consent before developing and promoting their artworks. This initiative has been highly evaluated, particularly in the "community" sector, leading to B Corp certification.
On the other hand, initiatives in the environmental sector are positioned as an area to be further strengthened in the future. Based on the "Declaration of Responsible Manufacturing," Heralbony will work to reduce environmental impact in cooperation with all stakeholders involved in raw material procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and other processes. We will continue to pursue better manufacturing practices.
